Next week is the long-awaited AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas and, in its 7th iteration, it promises to be huge! It spans 7 properties on the Las Vegas strip - from the MGM Grand to the Aria - and AWS anticipates over 40,000 attendees. This year there are thousands of sessions to choose from over the course of 5 days at the conference and I wanted to curate a list of sessions that you don’t want to miss.
The highlighted sessions cover everything from security and compliance, serverless, scalability, and of course, chat. These are not only issues that we’re focusing on at SendBird, but that are critical for many other SaaS businesses today. For a lot of our customers, these are essential to doing business.
If you haven’t done so already, make sure you reserve your spot since sessions fill up quickly. You can navigate the re:Invent session catalogue by filters based on your interest to start planning. One thing is for sure, don’t miss the keynote - the source for major announcements and updates.
AWS also re-vamped their mobile app this year to include helpful local information during the event and browse open sessions near you (in case your favorite session is overflowing!). So step number one when you arrive is to download it and turn on the notifications.
Finally, a quick shameless plug for a talk that our VP of Engineering, Jin Ku is participating in with the AWS team and Samsung. Go check his Chalk Talk and learn more about how SendBird and Samsung utilized AWS Enterprise Support to overcome major technical challenges.

I hope that you’re as excited about these sessions as I am. Either way, the conference is sure to be a fun-filled, educational experience whether it’s your first time or seventh time.
If you want to chat about AWS, learn more about the power of chat or share an interesting session of your own, come find SendBird at the Aria Quad booth #400 any day of the conference—and be sure to save your spot talk with our team to collect some free swag!
See you in Vegas!
